Powerhouse Hobbs has officially announced that he has been medically cleared to resume his wrestling career.
Since April, Hobbs has been healing from a knee injury. Last month, it was reported that he had been given the go-ahead for his in-ring return.
During his recent guest stint on the podcast “In The Kliq,” Hobbs verified the reports.
In his words, “I ruptured my patellar tendon, a rather brutal injury. But being the person that I am, I’ve made a quick recovery. It feels like I’ve got a bit of that Wolverine healing factor. I’m cleared and ready to go. The news is already out there on the internet that I’m fit to wrestle. Now, it’s time to get back to where I was before the injury.”
At present, there are no details on when Hobbs will make his comeback on AEW TV.
Meanwhile, Game Changer Wrestling has declared that Scorpio Sky will square off against Starboy Charlie during GCW Blood On The Hills 3 scheduled for October 19 in Los Angeles.
