On June 28, Dijak found himself out of contract and in free agent status after his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) expired.
Just before his employment termination, during the second phase of the 2024 WWE Draft, Dijak made a brief comeback to the WWE main roster. However, his return was cut short after his defeat by Xavier Woods in the top contender’s competition for the Speed Championship aired on the June 19th episode of WWE Speed.
Dijak officially announced his departure on the 27th of June, stating that no attempts were made for contract renewal discussions. Marking his match against Woods as his last appearance on WWE.
In his reflection on his WWE career, Dijak candidly shared his displeasure with his transition from the lower-tier NXT to prominent WWE rosters and his limited screen presence.
As reported by Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE had not planned to renew Dijak’s contract, leading to retracted involvement in NXT and consequent pull back until his contract period ended.
His comment was, ” My understanding is that he wasn’t thrilled but also aware that he doesn’t have a part to play there anymore. Considering he was removed from NXT, I presume they’d them on stand-by, knowing they’d let him go, so they didn’t heavily promote him on NXT.”
After leaving WWE, Dijak has re-joined the independent wrestling world. He has shown up at Blitzkrieg Pro Wrestling and gave a fiery promo, not without a few choice words.
As of now, Dijak’s future steps in the wrestling world following his WWE exit remain uncertain.
