Welcome back to another Monday Morning Q&A where I toss out some questions to get a feel of how you guys and gals are feeling about certain topics.

So here are 5 questions I’d like to toss out for this week. I’ll give my answers, too, but the key here is that I want to know what YOU think! So make sure you chime in!

1) Kamille is leaving NWA and not signing a new contract. Where would you like to see her end up next?

She has too much presence and potential to be sticking around in NWA. I’m a big fan of her deciding to move on to greener pastures, wherever she ends up.

As someone who would lean more toward WWE than AEW for a lot of talent, my brain immediately goes there. Kamille against people like Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair is much more appealing to me than the roster AEW has to work with at the moment. While there are certainly some talented women on that roster, I can’t say Kamille has as many quote-unquote “dream opponents” in comparison.

I could see her going to TNA, though. Bigger fish in a smaller pond. Immediately goes into the title picture without having to do much of anything, whereas WWE would put her through the Performance Center trials.

My vote goes to WWE, but my prediction is that she’ll end up signing with TNA, oddly enough, over AEW.

2) QT Marshall has left AEW. Where would you like to see HIM end up next?

He doesn’t strike me as the type of guy anyone would prioritize on any roster, to be honest. Not that he doesn’t have things to offer, mind you. But it’s not like picking up QT Marshall is the equivalent of picking up Adam Copeland or Will Ospreay or something.

From an outsider’s perspective, it seems like his primary contribution is behind the scenes as a trainer and producer type. If that’s the case, who needs his presence the most between TNA and WWE? Or, could he go to NWA and actually have a run of his own there?

Considering his connection to Cody Rhodes, it wouldn’t shock me if he put in a good word about QT Marshall and we saw QT at least doing a trial run with the Performance Center as a producer/coach type, if not outright signing with the company in that kind of role. But it also depends on what he wants to do, too. He might not be interested in that position whatsoever, and might want to just tour the indies.

3) McKenzie Mitchell was released from WWE. You know the question. What would you like to see her do next?

I’m baffled with this decision. She was easily the best interviewer the company has had in years. Arguably, I think she’s better than even Renee, but she’s at least the best since her.

Why they released her is anyone’s guess. Until we find out more, I’m just left wondering who made such a terrible call. She would have been upgraded to the main roster YEARS ago if I were running things. The same with Vic Joseph taking over the spot that Kevin Patrick is currently in.

Selfishly, I’d like to see her just re-sign with WWE after they realized this was a mistake. That’s not going to happen, though. So instead, I’d honestly like to see her try to do some other job outside of the wrestling business. She’s too good to go to the other promotions and be downgraded. Put this girl on ESPN or something.

4) What do you think about Ric Flair’s promo and subsequent tweet about how he would leave AEW if he’s embarrassing Tony Khan and doesn’t need the money?

I don’t get how Ric Flair gets a pass when others who have been in similar (arguably less damaging) positions are blacklisted entirely, or at least treated like they’re more contagious. This idea that “That’s just The Nature Boy” and you know what you’re getting with him is making excuses.

Just be honest. Say “yeah, but I enjoy his character more, so I’m willing to overlook that and be hypocritical compared to others” because that’s what is happening. For instance, ask Teddy Long what he thinks about Ric Flair and tell me that Flair is holier than someone like Hulk Hogan, who is banned from AEW for life, right? Kind of ridiculous in my mind, as it should be both or neither.

Flair has overstayed his welcome from my perspective, in a lot of ways. I’m not interested in seeing him cut promos he used to do decades ago and stealing the spotlight in what is Sting’s retirement tour. If that’s what Sting wants, and if Tony Khan is willing to put up with it and take the brunt of the criticism for doing so, then that’s one thing. But I certainly wouldn’t be signing Flair to a longer contract beyond Sting’s retirement match. They need to reevaluate those things.

And Flair needs to stay offline. Not because he needs to “ignore the haters and keep doing his thing”, but because he’s only digging the hole deeper for himself and looking even worse.

I wish he would just enjoy his retirement and stop adding more black marks to his legacy.

5) Who do you think should (and/or will) win the tournament to determine the next challenger for Logan Paul’s United States Championship?

It has to be a babyface, so that automatically rules out Santos Escobar, Karrion Kross (unless they’re planning on turning him), Bobby Lashley, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. By default, that means it’s already down to just Dragon Lee and Kevin Owens.

Considering Owens may have a fractured hand, and they might even be looking at booking those two against each other at WrestleMania (even though I think LA Knight is the better way to go), that means I’d default to Dragon Lee.

That would make sense, though. Lee has a connection to Rey Mysterio, who Paul won the title from in the first place. Since Rey is injured, they can’t run back a rematch, which may have been their original intention. We didn’t see the Escobar vs Carlito match that was originally scheduled, and Escobar beat Lee at Survivor Series, so the way they could book that tournament match is for Escobar to lose to Lee (to even the score between them) via interference/distraction from Carlito, setting up the Carlito/Escobar match for a future episode of SmackDown and allowing Lee to advance.

The wrestling world is always buzzing with news and updates, and this week is no different. In this article, we will discuss some of the latest happenings in the industry and pose a few questions for you to ponder. So, let’s dive in!

1) Kamille, a prominent figure in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), has decided not to renew her contract and is looking for new opportunities. This raises the question: where would you like to see her end up next? While WWE and AEW are the obvious choices, some believe that TNA could be a good fit for her. The smaller promotion would allow her to immediately enter the title picture without going through the rigorous training of WWE’s Performance Center. What are your thoughts on this?

2) Another departure from AEW is QT Marshall. While he may not be a top priority for any roster, he has contributed behind the scenes as a trainer and producer. So, where do you think he should go next? Should he join TNA or WWE, or perhaps have a run of his own in NWA? It will be interesting to see what path he chooses.

3) McKenzie Mitchell, a talented interviewer, was recently released from WWE. Many fans are puzzled by this decision, as she was considered one of the best interviewers in the company. Some even argue that she is better than Renee Young. So, what would you like to see Mitchell do next? Should she re-sign with WWE after they realize their mistake, or should she explore opportunities outside of the wrestling business? Share your thoughts!

4) Ric Flair, a legendary figure in wrestling, recently made headlines with his promo and subsequent tweet about leaving AEW if he feels he is embarrassing Tony Khan and doesn’t need the money. This raises questions about the double standards in the industry. While Flair is given a pass for his actions, others who have been in similar situations are blacklisted. What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe Flair should be held to the same standards as other wrestlers?

5) Lastly, there is a tournament to determine the next challenger for Logan Paul’s United States Championship. Who do you think should (and/or will) win this tournament? As it has to be a babyface, Santos Escobar, Karrion Kross, Bobby Lashley, Grayson Waller, and Austin Theory are ruled out. This leaves us with Dragon Lee and Kevin Owens as potential winners. Considering Owens’ potential injury and the connection between Lee and Rey Mysterio, it seems likely that Lee could be the winner. What are your predictions for this tournament?

These are just a few of the current topics in the wrestling world. We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on these questions. Feel free to share your answers in the comments section below.
