WWE revealed on Tuesday that its NXT wrestling episodes are lined up to premiere their initial two shows on The CW network. These episodes will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Tuesday, October 1, and at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Tuesday, October 8.
Enthralling news for fans is that there will be special guest appearances by renowned wrestlers – CM Punk in Chicago and Randy Orton in St. Louis. The much awaited tickets for these events will be available from Thursday, August 15, teeing off at 10 a.m. local time.
A report from Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline suggests that the decision for NXT to organize these two specific shows in larger arenas should not be construed as an indication of a permanent move to hosting shows in major venues.
NXT is planning to persist with their regular routine of airing from the Performance Center in Orlando, diverting to larger arenas as and when the need arises or is deemed suitable.
One of the key people associated commented, “It’s only the first two weeks that will be outside of Orlando. Obviously, based on ticket demand and other factors, no decisions are final.”
Back in November 2023, WWE and The CW Network had entered into a five year collaboration agreement.
