Roman Reigns is closing in on 1000 days since he became Universal Champion. He beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 last year to become the WWE Champion, ultimately being crowned as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

At Saturday’s Night of Champions Event in Saudi Arabia, Reigns will team with Solo Sikoa vs Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Reigns will defend the title at Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.

“Reigns is expected to defend the title on the 7/1 Money in the Bank show in London and again at SummerSlam. It feels way early for Sikoa, but the top candidates on the brand would be the Usos and Bobby Lashley, and thus far Lashley hasn’t been heated up to that level,” Meltzer wrote.
