On Friday, wrestling experts Triple H and Stephanie McMahon had a consultation with Robert F. Kennedy Jr, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services. The principal agenda of their discussion was preparations for the forthcoming President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, & Nutrition. Following the meeting, Kennedy posted a photograph with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on his social media platform.

The high-profile meeting was convened against the backdrop of controversial actions that Kennedy had made since he assumed office. In one of his striking decisions in March, he labelled the Department of Health and Human Services as a “sprawling bureaucracy”. Subsequently, he rolled out broad cuts that led to the loss of 10,000 jobs and caused the closure of several agencies. However, certain programs were restored a few weeks later after being “mistakenly cut” as described by Kennedy.

Even more recently, Kennedy made a major shuffle in the federal advisory committee on immunizations. He ousted 17 members and filled in their place, eight new members. Furthermore, it was reported that the Department of Homeland Security had pressurized CMS — a subordinate agency of Kennedy’s Department, to disclose personal data to immigration authorities.

Interestingly, the U.S. Secretary of Education in the government of Donald Trump, Linda McMahon, is Stephanie McMahon’s mother.

A tweet from Secretary Kennedy showed his enthusiasm about the meeting. The tweet read, “Met today with @TripleH and @StephMcMahon to strategize about the upcoming President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.”
