Pete Gas has hinted that fans shouldn’t dismiss the idea of Shane McMahon showing up on AEW programming.
Earlier this summer, there circulated a picture of Vince McMahon’s son in conversation with AEW President Tony Khan at a secluded airport in Arlington, Texas.
When recently speaking on the “AdFreeShows” podcast, Gas, a former member of the Mean Street Posse and a longtime friend of Shane, was questioned concerning Shane’s potential appearance in AEW. His response was,
“Never say never. That’s the only thing I can say. I don’t know. The history behind Shane, and everyone, Shane loves to kayfabe. Shane is not going to let anything out that he doesn’t want out.”
He went on to emphasize, “It’s intriguing because they suggested that whole incident with him meeting with Khan. It sparks people’s curiosity. You never say never with Shane. He relishes those moments. His entire return (to WWE) was shrouded in kayfabe – it’s always been his way. You never say never.”
