Paul Wight signed up with AEW in February 2021 where he has actually worked as an in-ring skill and analyst. He has just battled 4 times in AEW due to injuries. He went through knee replacement surgical treatment in August.
Appearing on the Deuce and Mo podcast, Wight exposed that he prepares to be back in the ring “real quickly.”
” Working hard, training difficult to return in the ring, which will ideally take place real quickly. I’ve had a hip replacement and simply got a knee replacement carried out in August, which seems like completion of a professional athlete’s profession, however contemporary innovation, I’ll inform you, I feel much better joint-wise than I’ve felt the previous 15 years. Now, it’s about getting the muscle more powerful and having a bit more enjoyable. I have a couple years left in AEW, for sure, signed a good healthy agreement when I came by and I intend on making great on that agreement in AEW for Tony Khan and myself.”
