The Undertaker gave his Final Farewell at WWE Survivor Series, and the wrestling world continues to pay tribute to “The Phenom.” Paul Heyman is no exception, and he complimented the legend for his historic career in an interview with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT. Heyman stated that “The Deadman” delivered every time WWE called on him throughout his WWE tenure, which spans 30 years.

Heyman also argued that The Undertaker will go down as an all-time great. “[He has had] a storied career, perhaps the greatest career in the history of WWE,” said Heyman via McCarthy.

The former Executive Director of WWE RAW also reflected on The Undertaker’s reputation for working through pain for years on end. “…In order to over-deliver such a legendary career, this character behind the scenes was a man who was in untold pain and suffering that he never complained about or ever went public with because he understood that was the sacrifice that was necessary for a man that size to put on those performances,” said Heyman via McCarthy.

WWE Survivor Series offered fans one more chance for the entire WWE Universe to acknowledge “The Phenom,” and all of his sacrifices. Check out WrestleZone’s extensive have coverage of the show, including the post-show podcast, a review of the pay-per-view, and more.
