WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman recently shared insights on his key to success in the wrestling industry on a talk with “Jazzy’s World TV.” He made it clear that much of his success can be traced back to his mother’s advice given to him throughout his upbringing.
In a direct quote, Heyman revealed, “I believe my success is tied to the fact that I’ve never truly desired a conventional job. My entire life, I’ve managed to avoid getting a regular job. My mother played a significant role in this, often telling me, ‘You’re a fool, not many will appreciate you. Regardless, pursue what you love in life.”
Meanwhile, during a discussion at Comic-Con Northern Ireland 2024, Trish Stratus, another member of the WWE Hall of Fame, shared her opinion on the current state of WWE’s women’s division. She feels that creating and developing characters should be a priority in order to enhance the division.
In her own words, Stratus expressed, “I’d like to see a stronger focus on character presentation. Undeniably, women now have more opportunities. We often see them featuring in main events and high-profile matches. However, in comparison to the past, there’s a lack of deeper character portrayal, a factor I believe resonates with fans. The emphasis now is more on the matches, with less backstory or character development than was seen previously. We need to pay more attention to this aspect.“
