LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – OCTOBER 11: Professional wrestler advocate Paul Heyman speaks at a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE’s Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. During last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, an interview between Kayla Braxton and Roman Reigns quickly went off the rails, with Reigns and Paul Heyman both berating Braxton for her questions. On today’s Talking Smack, Heyman issued an apology to Braxton, and blamed Kevin Owens for the reason as to why everything went so badly.

Serving as co-host to the show, Heyman stopped things as soon as the show started, and told Braxton that she was owed a profound, sincere apology. Heyman said that what happened to her in the ring was wrong, and that she was put in a terrible situation that was, according to him, all to be blamed on Kevin Owens. “Kevin Owens putting you in that situation was the most unprofessional act I have ever seen on SmackDown in a long, long time,” he said. Heyman went on to say that Owens was clearly raised wrong, and that Roman Reigns – a gentleman, according to Heyman – would never do something like that.
