MidwestTerritory.com and Paradigm Pro Wrestling are tag teaming to present a professional wrestling benefit show for the Salem Animal Shelter and the Washington County Humane Society.

The Facebook Event page can be seen here and the entire press release can be seen below.

The first-ever “PawCade” professional wrestling supercard will be held on Saturday, July 11th at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Salem, Indiana. The event will be headlined by a unique first-time-ever contest pitting hardcore wrestling Hall of Famer Mad Man Pondo against EFFY. Southern Indiana resident Mad Man Pondo rose to fame after being heavily featured in events promoted by recording artists the Insane Clown Posse, completing numerous tours for Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and appearing as a playable character in the 2004 video game Backyard Wrestling 2. He recently released a book entitled Memoirs of a Mad Man.

His scheduled opponent, EFFY, has gained international acclaim as an openly gay performer after being profiled by VICE and other news outlets, and performing for various independent wrestling shows across the country. Other featured competitors include John Wayne Murdoch, Levi Everret, Calvin Tankman, Juicy Jimmy, Nolan Edward, ATM (with Nikki Campbell), Johnathan Wolf, Billie Starkz, and Paradigm Pro Wrestling Champion Cole Radrick.

But behind all the exciting action, the main purpose of the show is to benefit a good cause. MidwestTerritory.com owner, and event promoter, Chad French said “My family and I are excited to be able to- in some small way- help our furry friends out with this show. MidwestTerritory.com has long said that we’d never promote a professional wrestling show of our own unless the cause warranted it, this is that cause.”

This will be one of the area’s first major sporting events since the coronavirus pandemic began. The event is being held in accordance with Indiana’s Back on Track Reopening Guidelines. The Reopening Guidelines permit entertainment/ sporting events with 250+ people in attendance beginning on July 4th. PawCade promoters have stated that in addition to following all applicable county and state guidelines as it pertains to safety, that they will be voluntarily capping total capacity at the show to 250 people, with facial masks available to those who want them, and enhanced sanitation measures in place.

PawCade will emanate from the Washington County Fairgrounds in Salem, Indiana on Saturday, July 11th. The show will start at 7PM. Tickets are $15, with discounts available if you donate an item to the humane society. Advanced tickets are available at ParadigmProWrestling.com.
