AEW Dynasty 2025 is gearing up for an epic showdown this Sunday, April 5th, with two new exciting additions confirmed for the event’s lineup.
In an unanticipated announcement, The Opps have declared that they’ll be present at the much-awaited event, not competing (at least, not as of now), but observing the tidal wave of action from ringside. They issued a cryptic warning instructing attendees to remain alert in their vicinity.
Adding to the thrilling lineup, a fresh duel has been scheduled with famed wrestlers Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight set to face off in a first-round match of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Notably, these two had recently formed an unbeatable dynamite duo defeating Blake Christian and Lee Johnson.
The victor of the bout between Ospreay and Knight will further challenge the winner of the nail-biting match-up between Konosuke Takeshita vs. Brody King, determining the left side of the exciting tournament’s bracket.
Here’s how the card for AEW Dynasty is shaping up based on the recent announcements:
– First-Round Owen Hart Foundation Tournament: Will Ospreay is set to face Kevin Knight
– AEW TNT Championship: Daniel Garcia (c) will face Adam Cole in a closely watched singles match
– An exciting Three-Way Match for the AEW International Championship: Kenny Omega (c) will face Ricochet and “Speedball” Mike Bailey
– AEW Women’s World Championship: “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) will go head-to-head against Megan Bayne
