The reigning NWA Worlds Champion, EC3, has expressed his confidence in the future of Ricochet beyond the WWE realm, amidst rumors indicating that the “One and Only” wrestler will soon acquire the status of a free agent.
Reports suggest that Ricochet has intimated his intentions of departure to WWE, planning to end his tenure with the organization following the expiration of his contract later this year.
In an upcoming episode of the “Wrestling Outlaws” podcast, EC3 engaged in a discussion regarding the destiny of Ricochet, showing optimism and high hopes for the individual who was the first-ever WWE Speed Champion. He commented,
“Ricochet had a successful run in WWE, both in terms of his performance and his financial gain. He’s likely quite comfortable. Now, a talent like him has a range of options. He can fall back on his roots or take substantial risks to reinvent himself, possibly creating something fresh and exciting. He probably has a lot going on in his head right now, but he doesn’t need to be concerned about his future. That’s certain.”
In a recent episode of WWE RAW, Ricochet fell victim to an assault by Bron Breakker, which ended with him being carried away in an ambulance, thereby taking him off the TV airwaves.
Despite WWE’s attempt at manoeuvring one last appearance to leverage the hype stemming from Ricochet’s anticipated exit, it’s speculated that audiences have witnessed the last of him on the television screen.
