Reporter Jon Alba has new details on WWE’s rocky taping schedule and some police run-ins.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it was called several times to the WWE’s Performance Center over the past few weeks. It repeatedly told the company it was not in compliance with the existing laws and that it had to shut down its tapings. However, it kept on going with their tapings.

The new Executive Order signed on April 9 changed the law, and WWE is now legal as an “essential business.” Police were called again yesterday regarding last night’s Monday Night RAW taping, but they allowed it to continue due to the change.
