In an appearance on the popular “Preston & Steve” podcast recently, the wrestler Orange Cassidy made an announcement about his upcoming appearance on AEW Collision. The episode, scheduled for tomorrow night, will take place in Philadelphia, PA.
On the show, Cassidy hinted towards a possible face-off with Wheeler Yuta, implying that he felt the need to take him on following the recent spate of violent episodes orchestrated by the Blackpool Combat Club.
A confident Cassidy stated, “I’m definitely going to be there and you’ll definitely see me doing something.”
In a separate podcast, “The Von Erich”, Steven Borden shared some insights into his journey of becoming a wrestler and the individuals with whom he trains.
He noted his reactions to Sting’s disapproval of his wrestling ambitions, leading to a serious conversation between the two. He said, “As often as I can. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Asheville training with Dax (Harwood), Cash (Wheeler), and Adam (Copeland). That will probably end up being a more long-term thing at some point pretty soon, it’s just a timing thing.”
During the discussion, Marshall Von Erich disclosed that he endured a pectoral muscle tear while executing a dropkick.
He shared his experience, saying, “I’m actually coming off of a torn pec because I was all hyped up. I threw a drop kick and I felt like I got too much air when I landed. I wasn’t ready for it. It’s crazy what the crowd and adrenaline will do to you.”
