Orange Cassidy Sets New AEW Record, Updated NJPW G1 Climax 33 Standings

Orange Cassidy retained the AEW International Championship against Lance Archer at Saturday night’s Battle of the Belts VII event.

With the latest title retention, Cassidy set a new AEW record for consecutive title defenses. The victory marked the 26th successful title defense for Cassidy and the babyface star surpassed Jade Cargill’s record of 25 successful title defenses.

Cassidy has held the AEW International Championship for 278 days, which includes the period when the title was called the All-Atlantic Championship.

Cassidy defeated PAC to win the All-Atlantic Title on the October 12th episode of Dynamite.
