Professional wrestler Orange Cassidy talked about being part of a darker storyline in AEW with a narrative involving Jon Moxley and the Death Riders during his recent stint on the “Battleground” podcast.
Here’s a look at some of the podcast extracts:
On his darker AEW storyline: “I am indeed fortunate for getting the chance to work on a darker storyline. This evolution in my career would not have been possible if not for AEW. It grants professional wrestlers like myself the opportunity to grow.”
About feeling the pressure of stepping out of his comfort zone: “It can be pressurizing when I have to do something that I’m not typically used to. So whenever I do get such opportunities, it is paramount for me to make them count because they don’t come by often.”
About Jon Moxley and the Death Riders: “Jon Moxley poses danger – his actions could potentially end careers. As for what he or the Death Riders plan next, it’s unpredictable.”

In another episode of “The Takedown” podcast, QT Marshall discussed his mediating role between AEW President, Tony Khan, and the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling CEO, Scott D’Amore.
Here’s what the podcast revealed:
On acting as a go-between for Tony Khan and Scott D’Amore: “Tony is great about the arrangement and one of the useful skills I bring aside from wrestling is the ability to be a go-between for Scott D’Amore and Tony. It’s more work for me, but is definitely beneficial for the organization.”
On his philosophy about helping others, even at the risk of being replaced: “One should step up to the task, even when afraid. I constantly say, no one can take my job. We can hire numerous backstage staff, but my bond with Tony is unique.”
