Orange Cassidy, during an interaction on the show Under The Ring, gave his thoughts on possible matchups that could make for intriguing viewing in a Forbidden Door event. His words were,
“Anytime someone asks me who I would like to grapple with, I feel like I don’t really want to compete. I would prefer not getting punched. I’m a fan of [Tetsuya] Naito for a long time. No doubt, he is going to give a good fight with Jon Moxley. That’d be a fascinating match. I hate to drop anyone’s name, because the last time I did, I wound up going toe-to-toe with that individual, which is what’s happening now in this pay-per-view, so I think I will hold my peace from now on.”
