Opinion: Thunder Rosa Advocates for The Young Bucks to Triumph Over Sting & Darby Allin at AEW Revolution

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa discussed Sting’s upcoming retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024 this weekend.

Sting will team with Darby Allin to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks in a Tornado Tag Match at Sunday’s pay-per-view event.

According to Rosa, The Young Bucks should defeat the babyface duo to establish themselves as legitimate heels in AEW. She said,

“It’s better because then the Bucks can say, ‘We were the ones who retired Sting. We did this to Sting.’ And it gives them more heat and I think for the Bucks, that’s what they really need. They really need to be adversaries for somebody that is beloved by the fans and do something that is disgustingly nasty for them to be like, ‘Alright. We are real heels now. You can’t take this away from us.’ In storyline, I think this is what it should be. If you want the cool confetti, the memories, the cool pictures, then yes, let him leave as a champion.”

AEW Revolution 2024 will emanate from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Sting’s Retirement Match at AEW Revolution 2024: Thunder Rosa’s Perspective

This weekend, AEW Revolution 2024 will feature a highly anticipated retirement match for wrestling legend Sting. The former AEW Women’s World Champion, Thunder Rosa, recently shared her thoughts on the upcoming match during an episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast.

Sting will team up with Darby Allin to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks in a Tornado Tag Match. This match holds significant importance for both Sting and The Young Bucks, as it could potentially establish The Young Bucks as legitimate heels in AEW.

According to Thunder Rosa, it would be beneficial for The Young Bucks to defeat the beloved babyface duo of Sting and Darby Allin. By doing so, The Young Bucks would be able to claim that they were the ones who retired Sting, adding more heat and animosity to their characters. Rosa believes that this is exactly what The Young Bucks need to solidify themselves as true adversaries and establish their status as real heels in the eyes of the fans.

Rosa further explains that for The Young Bucks to become authentic villains, they need to do something disgustingly nasty to a beloved figure like Sting. This would create a memorable moment that fans won’t easily forget and would cement The Young Bucks’ reputation as formidable heels. In Rosa’s opinion, allowing Sting to leave as a champion would only provide fans with cool confetti, memories, and pictures. However, if The Young Bucks were to retire Sting, it would elevate their status as true villains and make their victory all the more impactful.

AEW Revolution 2024 will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This event promises to be a thrilling spectacle for wrestling fans, with Sting’s retirement match being one of the most highly anticipated bouts of the night.

As Sting prepares for his retirement match, fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome and wondering whether The Young Bucks will emerge victorious. Regardless of the result, this match is expected to leave a lasting impact on AEW and the wrestling world as a whole.

In conclusion, Thunder Rosa’s perspective on Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024 sheds light on the significance of this bout for both Sting and The Young Bucks. The outcome of this match could potentially establish The Young Bucks as legitimate heels in AEW and solidify their status as formidable adversaries. Wrestling fans will undoubtedly be glued to their screens as they witness this historic event unfold at AEW Revolution 2024.
