Entering the WWE SmackDown arena, Kevin Owens was expected to collaborate with a surprise teammate to confront the challenging duo of A-Town Down Under. As he stood in the ring facing Grayson Waller & Austin Theory, his companion for the day was revealed to be…Ricky, an indie wrestler local to the area, who was mocked by commentators for his abundant body fur, dubbing him the long-lost offspring of George “The Animal” Steele.
Owens clarified that Ricky was not his original choice for the tag team partner who, unfortunately, couldn’t attend the night’s event, expressing that Ricky will have to suffice.
In a sudden turn of events, Owens was told his intended partner managed to arrive after all. In response, Owens quickly dismissed Ricky post-stunner, making way for the real ally to emerge: none other than Randy Orton.

As a cohesive unit, Owens, and The Viper successfully claimed a pinfall triumph over the erstwhile tag team champions, serving them a piece of humility—only for a brief period, though.
Do you reckon someone else would have made an appearance instead? How about justice for Ricky? Looking forward to your views in the comments below!
