The reigning AEW International Champion, MJF, is scheduled to safeguard his title on CMLL turf. He secured his AEW International Title triumph over Will Ospreay on the recent AEW Dynamite 250 episode.
During the latest broadcast of CMLL Viernes Espectacular, a video message was aired where MJF declared his intentions to defend his title at the forthcoming Viernes Espectacular event to be held on Friday, August 2. This event will originate from Arena Mexico in Mexico City.
Filled with confidence and determination, MJF said, “I’m going to take it to those masked morons in Mexico! I’m the greatest wrestler in the world from the only country that matters: the good old U-S-of-A.”
As of now, CMLL hasn’t released information about who MJF’s rival will be for this major showdown.
