Omos Is Ready For Whatever WWE Has Planned Amid Ongoing Hiatus

Despite his sustained hiatus from the ring throughout the bulk of 2024, Omos remains determined and prepared for any twists and turns in WWE.

In a recent episode of the “Six Feet Under” podcast’s question and answer session, Omos discussed his growth within WWE and the shifts in his role. He stated:

“There’s been a lot of evolution. I initially came in as AJ’s back-up and eventually branched out on my own. Then MVP came in as my manager, in a similar vein as Bobby Heenan. Now I feel prepared to stand alone and perform independently. Both AJ and MVP have been crucial in my learning process. AJ helped me understand the basics of performance and the art of portraying a giant. “

“With MVP, I grasped concepts like having presence in the ring and the subtle nuances that differentiate performers – such as selling convincingly without appearing mechanical. MVP would often give me helpful tips like, ‘Aim for a natural feel in your sell.’ He was always open to passing the mic to me after his heel promo, allowing me to add my part. These small tips made a huge difference.”

Omos also discussed his forward aspirations within WWE and how his experience at live events in 2023 set him up for upcoming opportunities. He shared:

“My comfort level in front of a live audience has greatly improved. The house shows I participated in last year significantly contributed to my development. I feel equipped and ready for any challenges that lie in my future journey within WWE.”

Notably, Omos has not competed for WWE since April of this year, when he participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal that was won by Bronson Reed.

The most recent victory for Omos on WWE Television was last year in May, when he triumphed over a lesser-know opponent.
