Professional wrestler Oba Femi is raring for an exciting in-ring engagement with some of the high-ranking mavericks in the main WWE roster, particularly the performers hailing from Europe.
During a guest appearance on the RNC Radio’s “The A Show”, an intriguing question was posed to Femi – which wrestler from the main roster would he be interested to square off with. His response,
“GUNTHER. And I must add Ilja (Dragunov) as well, for I’ve been longing to have a match against Ilja before he exited NXT. I sensed his departure was imminent, and I feared I might not get the chance to face him. Both GUNTHER and Ilja have mastered the art of executing simple moves impressively, and I deem that they fully represent this skill. I also identify myself part of this performing category. It would’ve been fascinating to witness what I could’ve achieved with these individuals.”
GUNTHER’s promotion to the main roster took place in 2022, and he left a mark by carrying the Intercontinental Championship for the longest ever duration.
GUNTHER emerged victorious in the King of the Ring tournament held at WWE King & Queen Of The Ring, which secured his participation for a World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam 2024.
Ilja Dragunov, former WWE NXT World Champion, was included in RAW under this year’s drafting agenda. Oba Femi is preparing to defend his NXT North American Title against Wes Lee during the WWE NXT: Heatwave competition.
