Nigerian WWE sensation, Oba Femi, has carved a special place for himself in the annals of WWE, now standing tall as the longest-serving WWE NXT North American Champion.
Femi has successfully outlasted the tenure of the former champion, Wes Lee, who had held the illustrious title for a period of 269 days from the months of October 2022 until July 2023.
The coveted title was first laid claim by Femi in the wake of the new year in January when he utilized his NXT Break Out contract to challenge the reigning champ at the time, Dragon Lee.
Throughout his uninterrupted reign, Femi stalwartly defended his title against notable opponents such as Dragon Lee, Wes Lee, Ivar, and most recently, Tony D’Angelo.
Fans eagerly await the October 8th episode of WWE NXT, where Femi is set to uphold his title once again, this time against the Silver brand’s Don.
The video below presents a snippet from the October 1st episode of WWE NXT, where tensions flared between Oba Femi and Tony D’Angelo during their appearance on “Miz TV”.
