NXT Viewership Beats AEW Dynamite By 1,000 Viewers, While AEW Wins Key Demo
NXT just barely squeaked out a win in viewership against AEW this week.
AEW Dynamite drew 692,000 viewers overall (which is up from last week’s 685,000) and came in at No. 32 for the night. That’s up from No. 37 last week and marks a yearly low for the show.
Per Showbuzz Daily, NXT was up from last week with 693,000 viewers (up from 590,000) and came in at No. 51 with a .19 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That’s lower than AEW’s .26 for the night.
Per our own Bill Pritchard this marks the first time NXT has won the viewership battle since December 18, 2019, and only the fifth time since they began going head-to-head in October that AEW hasn’t won a week (Both shows tied on December 11, 2019).
