NXT UK Welcomes Back Fans For 10/14 TV Taping
NXT UK will finally welcome back fans for tapings, ending the era of empty-arena shows that the company ran for nearly 18 months.
According to a new press release issued by WWE, the UK brand’s television tapings will have fans in attendance starting with the October 14 taping at BT Sport Studio.
The press release states:
“NXT UK is set to welcome back fans to the BT Sport Studio starting Thursday, October 14, airing at 3pm ET / 8pm BST on Peacock in the US and WWE Network everywhere else. Marking the first return of a crowd to NXT UK in almost 18 months, the episode will see Ilja Dragunov defend his NXT UK Championship against A-Kid.”
Despite welcoming fans back, Inside The Ropes’ Gary Cassidy also confirmed that no tickets for this set of tapings will be available for general sale. Instead, a limited number of fans will be able to attend via invite-only. It was noted that those fans were emailed on Tuesday, thanking them for their support and telling them they could attend the two sets of tapings.
Masks and proof of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test are required to attend the tapings.
