In a new email sent out to fans on Tuesday, NXT has said that it will begin inviting fans to be part of a virtual live crowd starting this week.
Much like WWE does in its ThunderDome set up, it seems as if NXT’s Capital Wrestling Centre will now feature actual, live virtual fans in the crowd. Prior to this, the brand had been using recycled fan footage from past WWE shows. Unlike the current way WWE handles virtual fan experiences, it seems as if NXT will be utilizing a different service, one that handles virtual audiences for other daytime shows on various broadcasts.
The email notes that audience members who are chosen to take part in the show will have to be available starting at 6:30 p.m. ET tomorrow, for an episode of NXT that will see the start of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, as well as some other big matches.
