NXT Injury Report: Updates On Keith Lee And Kushida
The biggest story coming out of last night’s NXT was that Karrion Kross used mystical powers or some sort of contraption to cause a fireball to hit Keith Lee in the face. Yes, that’s really what happened. We now have an injury update on the NXT Champion as WWE says he suffered corneal and facial burns as a result of the attack. WWE Medical is monitoring him but expects him to compete at TakeOver XXX.
Meanwhile, Kushida is also banged up after losing in the triple threat match qualifier and getting attacked by a returning Velveteen Dream. The Japanese star suffered body contusions and is “day-to-day.”
