Last week, the WWE lodged a trademark for what is going to be a new faction in NXT called ‘The Culling’.
At first thought, it seemed possible that The Culling could represent the band of Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin. However, still maintaining their retribution-style façade, this semi-masked foursome continues their attacking spree on unsuspecting opponents. Most recently, they targeted Je’Von Evans after his win over Ethan Page in the New York City Street Fight, without uttering a word.
So, who exactly composes ‘The Culling’?
It turns out ‘The Culling’ is fronted by Shawn Spears, and includes members Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame. This revelation was made in a short clip where the team shared their ambitions for dominating NXT, as shown here:
