NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Set To Return In 2021
During tonight’s episode of NXT, the company confirmed that The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be making a return in 2021. The 2021 edition of the tournament will kick off in two weeks on NXT, with the winners earning an NXT Tag Team Championship opportunity.
The full look at the bracket for the tournament, as well as the competitors, will be revealed next week during NXT’s New Year’s Evil event. However, one group has already been revealed, with Adam Cole & Roderick Strong teaming up to represent The Undisputed Era. Previous winners of the tag team tournament include Finn Balor & Samoa Joe (2015), The Authors of Pain (2016), The Undisputed Era (2018), Aleister Black & Ricochet (2019), and Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne (2020).
