Occasional NWA rival Samantha Starr was just recently talked to by the Miami Herald, where the up-and-coming independent star discussed her famous wrestling household, including her uncle Jake Roberts, her dad Sam Houston, her mom Baby Doll, and her grandpa Grizzly Smith.
Jake Roberts Starr shared what she has actually gained from Roberts on getting her character over in the ring:” I was taught that if you have a message, and you can catch an audience without screaming, that’s when it ends up being credible. You do not need to go out there, shout and scream, and toss your arms up. That’s excellent storytelling if you can go out there and provide your message without yelling. That was extremely crucial.
