During Tuesday’s episode of NXT, Tony D’Angelo appeared to receive a phone call that seemed to be from Nunzio. This intriguing conversation hinted at a potential encounter between the two during nxt week’s episode at the well-known 2300 Arena located in Philadelphia, PA.
D’Angelo, the current NXT North American Champion, was seen listening to a voice message from an individual recommended by Vic Joseph to be the ex-ECW/WWE star Nunzio. Nunzio showed his dissatisfaction about not being notified beforehand about his presence at the 2300 Arena, clearly stating that this is not their usual way of operation. He also advised D’Angelo not to forget to bring along his championship title.
D’Angelo confidently promised Luca Crusifino and Stacks that he would appropriately manage the upcoming situation. For those that may not remember, Nunzio, once known as Little Guido in the ECW, was the head of the FBI (Full Blooded Italians).
The interesting phone call can be seen in the video below:

Furthermore, Fraxiom successfully defended the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships during this week’s episode of NXT, with unexpected intercession from Wes Lee towards Je’Von Evans.
Lee’s sudden appearance distracted Evans, instigating him to run after Lee. As the two engaged in a brawl outside the ring, Alexander was left facing the defending champions alone.
The fight between Lee and Evans continued backstage, undeterred by Ava’s efforts to intervene. Backstage, Rob Van Dam made an appearance, slightly unveiling his plans for the next week’s show at the 2300 Arena.
Fraxiom continues their championship reign, which now stands at 59 days since they secured the titles from Chase U during the September 1st episode of NXT. This marks their second title reign.
