In the latest episode of WWE NXT, Nunzio left an indelible mark with his return, joining forces with Tony Mamaluke and daring to challenge Tony D’Angelo for the NXT North American crown. Although the match culminated quickly, with D’Angelo prevailing over the FBI member in under two minutes, it was a noteworthy event.
In a recent conversation for the podcast “Busted Open Radio”, Nunzio spoke fondly about his experience with the WWE NXT crew. Nunzio remarked,
“I thought it was great. I actually went with Francine. She didn’t really know anybody and was like, ‘I want to go with you.’ I said, ‘Honestly, I know who they are but I don’t know anybody either.’ Everybody was very nice and respectful.”
Nunzio went on to explain how he engaged with several fighters and made attempts to assist with a couple of matches. He said,
“I talked to a few guys and always try to help out with a couple of matches. I talked to some people, trying to get my own match going. A little shorter than I wanted. Some people went over and stuff. I’m not paid by the hour. Take the minutes off, it’s okay. I love when they say that, ‘I’m sorry I cut your two.’ Okay, so I do three. It’s what you do in that five or six minutes.”
In additional wrestling news, Bronson Reed opened up about his personal WrestleMania ambitions during an interview with Matt Bingham of Z93. He shared,
“I guess my dream WrestleMania moment would be something like the ‘Boyhood Dream,’ Shawn Michaels capturing that Championship at WrestleMania. I remember watching that as a kid myself and seeing him hold the title and get down onto his knees.”
Not only did Reed express his aspirations, but also how he wanted to add his unique touch to it. He added further,
“You know, that’s what everyone sort of dreams of. But maybe I do a little bit different where I’m a little bit more dominant, and maybe I swing that title around my head.”
