WWE has divulged that nine fresh live shows are part of the forthcoming annual holiday tour, which is set to kick off on December 26. Of note however, is the fact that their usual post-Christmas show at Madison Square Garden was absent from this recent announcement.
The organization still has intentions of hosting an event at Madison Square Garden on December 26, but the decision to publicize this has been put on hold. This seems to be in connection with already scheduled plans for the SmackDown TV taping at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center come October, and the spotlighted Saturday Night’s Main Event set at Nassau Coliseum for December 14.
As of now, WWE’s focus is primarily directed to these two eminent events, with the Madison Square Garden event’s announcement scheduled for a later date.
