Note On STARDOM Talents Working AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II

During today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared an update on the possibility of STARDOM talent competing at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II later this month.

As of Sunday (June 11), AEW didn’t speak to any of the STARDOM wrestlers about appearing at the upcoming Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event.

In addition, the majority of the top STARDOM talents are also booked for the STARDOM Sunshine 2023 event, which takes place on the same day as Forbidden Door.

Since Sunshine will be held in Tokyo, it’s unlikely that any of the big names from STARDOM will be traveling to the United States for a crossover match at Forbidden Door II.

Meltzer also reported that entertainers and wrestlers do not require work visas in order to perform in Canada.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II takes place on Sunday, June 25 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
