Note On How Much Money AEW Got For Texas Chainsaw Massacre Match

On Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW presented a Texas Chainsaw Massacre match between Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy.

Satnam Sing, Jay Lethal, Karen Angle, Matt Hardy, Brother Zay, Ethan Page, and Leatherface interfered in the match as the two stars brawled around the arena and used various weapons.

Singh choke slammed Hardy, giving Jarrett the victory. This was a sponsorship arrangement for the upcoming video game Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Although AEW received compensation for the sponsorship, the funds will be used to assist with the Maui wildfires.

Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that they received over $100,000 for the sponsorship.
