Despite the determined attempts of Karrion Kross and The Final Testament to cause a rift within The New Day, the very self-assured Xavier Woods maintains their efforts will be fruitless.
Over the past few weeks, Kross has been working relentlessly to sow discord between Woods and his partner, Kofi Kingston – even going as far as suggesting that the 2021 King of the Ring should part ways with The New Day and instead align himself with The Final Testament.
During an exclusive “Digital Special” by WWE RAW after the latest episode, Woods stood firm in the face of these attempts, denying the possibility that anyone could cause a division between him and Kofi Kingston. His thoughts were,
“Karrion has had his moment in the sun as the WWE champion. AOP has had their share of fame as tag team champions. However, what’s a first in the annals of this industry? No one has been audacious enough to break up The New Day. Something to mull over. This could be the crowning achievement that catapults him to stardom.
“Does he truly believe that just as we’re on the brink of our ten-year milestone this November, something or someone could come between us as we’re on the verge of securing possibly the most illustrious and significant honour in WWE tag team wrestling history?
“Think again, Karrion. You or anyone from your crew are simply not capable of it. I can vouch for it, not a single soul on this Earth can accomplish the impossible task of breaking up The New Day. Not one.”
The most recent RAW episode saw Kofi and Woods once again on The Final Testament’s radar but they were rescued by Odyssey Jones who came to the aid of the fan-favourite pair.
