Earlier today, the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan was the venue for the New Japan Pro Wrestling’s NJPW Sakura Genesis 2025. Flashing an impressive audience of 6,640 spectators, the event was a thrilling spectacle of professional wrestling.

In a spirited opening match, Yuya Uemura managed to triumph over SANADA in a 10-minute and 26-second bout.

The NJPW World Television Championship Match followed, pitting The Great-O-Khan against El Phantasmo. The Great-O-Khan emerged victorious via countout in 11 minutes and 9 seconds to seize the title.

In a nail-biting 21-minute and 24-second battle for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship Match, the reigning champion Yota Tsuji successfully maintained his stronghold over the title, crushing the challenge posed by EVIL.

The final match of the event was for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Defending champion Hirooki Goto rose to the occasion defeating David Finlay in a grueling match of 24 minutes and 21 seconds.
