NJPW G1 Climax 30- Night 6 Results (9/29) B Block Brings More Drama
New Japan Pro Wrestling continued the G1 Climax on Tuesday. The night of B Block action was headlined with Tetsuya Naito’s quickest win of the tournament. The IWGP Double Champ remains undefeated in round robin competition, but his matches had been brushing up against the 30-minute time limit. That was not the case on Tuesday, as Naito dispatched Hirooki Goto in just under 22-minutes.
Naito isn’t the only undefeated B Block competitor. KOPW 2020 trophy holder Toru Yano continues to junk punch his way through the tournament. He bested former IWGP Double Champ EVIL on Tuesday, despite interference from “The Spoiler” Dick Togo.
Hiroshi Tanahashi snapped his losing streak by beating Juice Robinson. KENTA and Zack Sabre Jr. had the match of the night. YOSHI-HASHI got a hard fought win over SANADA. Yuya Uemura tied up all the Young Lions at 2 wins and 2 losses.
