Hoping to redeem herself after her loss to Cross last week, Flair said that she would teach Cross a lesson tonight in an interview before the match. Inside the ring, Flair looked ready to do just that, taking down Cross early and looking every bit as dominant as she usually is. But WWE RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley soon made her way out to the ring, and her presence distracted Flair. As a result, Cross took her chance to gain some momentum.

Toward the end of the match, Ripley’s presence at ringside began to wear on Flair, and it allowed Cross to hit a huge tornado DDT on “The Queen” that sent Flair out of the ring. There, she began to jaw back and forth with Ripley, and she didn’t pay attention while the referee counted her out and declared Cross the winner. Absolutely enraged, Flair hit Cross with a huge kick to the head as the victor celebrated. Ripley then entered the ring and hit Flair with the Riptide before she posed above her opponent at WWE Hell in a Cell.
