At this past WWE SummerSlam Kickoff session, it became evident how much Nikki Bella ponders over her main event match with Ronda Rousey that took place at WWE Evolution in 2018.
Rousey effectively maintained her position as the RAW Women’s Champion in a thrilling event where she went head-to-head with Nikki, who had the backing of Brie Bella. Speaking about the grand event, WWE’s Hall of Famer, Bella, was filled with passion as she remeniscence that cherished memory. She remarked, “Oh my gosh, I mean, it was a career highlight. Nothing gets bigger than that for me; I mean, maybe some things now in the future; we’ll see. That was the top of the top, and it truly marked what that pay-per-view means, Evolution, from all of the women in the past, the blood, sweat, tears, the triumphs, everything, literally paid off for that day of Evolution where you truly saw women finally revolutionize and be equals.”
In a fresh chat with “The Toronto Sun,” D-Von Dudley was all praises for the extraordinary career span of The Hardys. He fondly reflected his previous rivalries with the celebrated personalities, Adam “Edge” Copeland & Christian Cage. He shared, “I think I’m more surprised about Matt and Jeff because — firstly Jeff — because of all the crazy things that man has done, and I’ve seen him take some bumps that would just kill me inside. He’s like Jason and Michael Myers. You knock him down; he just keeps getting back up. Now I know what the old time is. Back when I was a young boy in the business, they used to say ‘D-Von, you know, don’t blink. Enjoy what’s going on now, before you know it, it’ll be over.’ And they were right.”
