A new accolade might be on its way for John Cena in the form of a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award. He has been nominated this year for his impressive cinematic contributions.
The “Favorite Movie Actor” category sees Cena as a potential winner for his depiction of Jakob Toretto in the movie Fast X. He, however, faces a tough competition from other talented actors in the same category. The following are the nominees:
- John Cena for his role as Jakob Toretto in Fast X
- Adam Sandler for his portrayal of Danny Friedman in You’re So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah
- Chris Pratt for his character as Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3
- Jason Momoa for playing Arthur in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
- Paul Rudd for his role as Gary Grooberson in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
- Ryan Gosling for personifying Ken in Barbie
- Ryan Reynolds for portraying Cal in IF
- Timothée Chalamet for his wonderful projection of Willy Wonka in Wonka
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards of 2024 will be chaired by SpongeBob SquarePants along with Patrick Star, and their voices will be brought to life by artists Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke.
The event is set to unveil in Bikini Bottom on Saturday, July 13, at sharp 8:00 PM ET. Surprisingly, this represents the third instance when John Cena has been shortlisted for a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award.
