In an investors call for TKO that took place recently, Mark Shapiro, the organization’s President, cast a light on the transformartive strides WWE is making under the supervision of Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Nick Khan.
Shapiro expressed that WWE is thriving especially in terms of its reach in various demographics,
He noted,
“The innovative approach of Paul Levesque within the WWE space. It’s a significant undertaking. His responsibilities include a Friday night spectacle [SmackDown], the Monday night program [Raw], NXT. We are in discussions with additional content producers about more bite-sized content, several contracts that Nick Khan is actively negotiating, and the details of which we will reveal at the appropriate time.”
Levesque (better known as Triple H), took over the creative reigns of WWE from Vince McMahon amid summer 2022 when the 78-year-old business tycoon took a temporary break from WWE due to allegations related to unlawful payments. Subsequently, Khan became the co-CEO of WWE, sharing the role with Stephanie McMahon.
Upon TKO consolidating with WWE in September 2023, Khan received the position of WWE President, which comes with a prestigious seat on TKO’s board of directors.
