Nick Jackson Injury Update After AEW Dynamite

Nick Jackson was concerned that he broke his leg in the eight-man tag bout he participated in this last Wednesday on Dynamite, but thankfully the younger Buck brother can reportedly put those concerns on ice.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nick thought his leg was broken when he put his knees up to block the 630-splash delivered by Jack Evans in their tag match and powered through the rest of the bout with that concern on his mind. Backstage he iced his leg down and doctors told him they believed it to be a contusion. Bryan Alvarez, also of the Observer, confirmed it to be a contusion on the F4W website.
Viewers of Dynamite did see Nick come out with Matt Jackson to end the show as they reunited with Gallows, Anderson and Kenny Omega in what appears to be a major heel turn and a reformation of their old Bullet Club brothers. There was a superkick spot Matt happened to do to onto the Varsity Blondes, but Nick did not take the risk.
Meltzer also reports that The Young Bucks were planned for tag action on next week’s show (which was taped this week) but that’ll now change due to Nick’s leg injury. Jackson does believe he’ll be ready to “kick” things off the week after however when AEW continues it’s tapings on January 20.
