WWE’s SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis revealed on Twitter today about a recent hacking incident with his account. He commented,
“Contrary to what you might think, no, I wasn’t trying to bait you into a sh1tcoin deal. I’m back in action and will continue my regular activity of reposting (ironically to avoid any conflict).”
Believe it or not, no, I wasn’t trying to sell you a sh1tcoin.
I’m back on X and will resume my usual activity of mostly reposting (which ironically was to avoid trouble). pic.twitter.com/MEPjUDNKFp

In a recent interview with “The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling” podcast, former wrestling star Marc Mero reminisced about being powerbombed by Sable and the effect it had on a planned title feud with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
A few highlights from the podcast are available below:
On being powerbombed by Sable: “No surprises there; it was all planned. Some people said, ‘How could you let a woman beat you up? You ruined your career.’ Keep in mind, I had a fixed salary, and it was advantageous to build her status to a point where she was making big money with merchandise and separate ventures out of the WWE, with different guest appearances on various shows — it was an amazing time for us. However, it did create some buzz and tension in the locker room and upended a program that I was supposed to have with Steve Austin.”
On the impact it had on a potential feud with Steve Austin: “At the time, I was set up as Steve’s next opponent. We had a main event match at the Los Angeles Forum. When I arrived at the venue, I found it had been changed. I was no longer fighting Steve. Initially, I didn’t realize it’s because of the Sable powerbomb. Steve’s perspective was ‘Why would I want to wrestle with someone who got beaten up by a woman?’ And I understand. So, it changed everything.”
