Nick Aldis Retains NWA World Heavyweight Title Against Flip Gordon

Nick Aldis stepped into the ring at NWA Hard Times looking to defend his NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Flip Gordon, and he was able to do just that, walking out of the ring with the belt still around his waist. The match was an incredible one, with both superstars giving it their all to come away on top, but Aldis was the one who got the last laugh, rolling up Gordon late to claim victory.

The challenger rocks Aldis with a kick in the face and nails him with a springboard spear. A European uppercut and stiff kick to the back, along with a moonsault, earn Gordon a near fall. Aldis crotches Gordon on the top rope but the challenger reverses a superplex. Aldis hits a Tombstone Piledriver and a diving elbow drop for a near fall. A Pele kick stuns Aldis, and lets Gordon lock in a crossface. Aldis reaches the ropes. Aldis trips Gordon but the challenger reverses the Cloverleaf and rocks Aldis with a superkick. Two Star-Spangled Stunners earn Gordon a near fall. Aldis counters Gordon and manages to roll Gordon up for the win.
