Nic Nemeth, former Dolph Ziggler, is not keen on defending the TNA World Championship on WWE NXT TV.
In a recent airing of the “Battleground Podcast,” the one-time Dolph Ziggler opened up about the idea of putting the TNA World Championship on the line on NXT TV, considered other possible opportunities for his appearance on WWE TV, and much more.
Here are some noteworthy conversations from the podcast:
When asked about defending the TNA Championship on NXT TV, Nemeth responded, “I’ve already done that, so what’s the benefit? I won’t become NXT Champion as I already did two years back, or if it benefits the company to say, ‘Look, our World Champ is here,’ and it’s something extraordinary, then I’m all ears to assist both entities to take it up a notch.”
On the topic of how else he could feature on WWE TV, Nemeth revealed, “An unexpected challenge on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown would be something new, someone I haven’t collaborated with. I was in NXT for quite some time, served as the champion and I had a stint with Bron Breakker, who is absolutely phenomenal. If there’s any analysis or business-related documents or information suggesting that, ‘Hey, it would be massive if you appear,’ then let’s bring it about. I guarantee my presence.”
