TNA Wrestling’s new World Champion, Nic Nemeth, has been expressing his gratitude for the creative liberty offered in the organization, an aspect he’s noticed since he became part of the promotion.

At TNA Slammiversary 2024, Nemeth seized the championship title during a six-person elimination competition involving the likes of Josh Alexander, Moose, Frankie Kazarian, Steve Maclin, and Joe Hendry.

During his initial appearance on “Busted Open Radio” podcast following his championship win, Nemeth has opened up about his experience and success in TNA, stating

“It feels absolutely great. Somehow, there’s a sense of artistic liberation in certain backstage segments and with respect to the character development. This works well for me in this corporation, even if it doesn’t always have the same effect for everyone else. It’s truly astounding to me.”

“Being in the industry for exactly twenty years, there are only a handful of things that still manage to excite me and make me think, ‘Wow, this is indeed extraordinary. How can I take this and transform it into something incredible?’ I will continue to do like I always have: exploit it to the maximum. I consider myself fortunate to be in this role, and I’m prepared to pave the way for an exceptional roster that fills me with immense pride.”

Nemeth came on board with TNA Wrestling at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view event in January 2024. It marked the resurgence of the promotion following a few years as Impact Wrestling.
