Nic Nemeth, who’s better known in the wrestling world as Dolph Ziggler, recently made his feelings about a previous match with Bill Goldberg known through a series of tweets. The incident occurred in 2019, at the WWE Summerslam event.
According to Nemeth, the match was not something he had desired, and he considered himself fortunate to have escaped without any injuries.
The issue came to light when Goldberg posted a snippet of their match on social media, accompanying it with a cautionary message – to be wary of what one wished for.
To this, Nemeth had a biting response on Twitter, saying, “Or even what what no one but Goldberg asked for.”
Later, when a fan remarked that Nemeth was lucky to have clashed with Goldberg in the ring, he dismissed it, stating, “You are free to believe anything you tell yourself, but that doesn’t make it accurate. ‘Kinda lucky to have been in the ring with him’…and not end up in a hospital, is much more accurate. Thanks for following.”
Meanwhile, there has been news about Goldberg’s impending retirement match scheduled for the coming summer.
